Great App & Very Helpful
So far so good I just started doing intermittent fasting and when I typed it into my browser to learn more this was the first app that came up. I like that it not only helps with keeping a schedule it also gives you an option to pay for a coach or not . Granted most of the app isnt open unless you pay for a coach, but for what I need it for and the basics are all free so if youre like me you can at least use it without having to pay for a coach and whatnot. The other thing I really like is during fasting it has a list of everything you will go through after whatever time frame youre at. It tells you what your body is doing at this particular milestone and how you can fix it. That alone is helpful because if youre just starting out its refreshing to see what you may be experiencing at that particular moment. All the other stuff like keeping track of water intake, weight and other fitness stuff is cool too but its kind of expected.

How To Cancel Dofasting
To cancel your subscription, you can go through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or if you signed up via the web, send an email and hope someone receives and processes your request quickly. When we emailed to cancel, we did receive a reply within 24 hours of making the request. The representative confirmed that our credit card would no longer be charged and that the account would continue to work through the end of the three-month period.
Generally speaking, we much prefer self-service cancellationlogging into an app or web account and pressing a button to automatically cancel. It’s better for the consumer and builds trust with the company. Having to send an email feels like a tactic to make cancelling intentionally difficult. A representative from DoFasting said that adding a self-serve cancellation feature is on the company’s roadmap.

Much like MyFitnessPal, DoFasting has a searchable food library that tracks all your calories and macros. I find this super handy when logging my food, saving me time and accurately tracking my macros.
I find it has the majority of the most common food sources and it also has all of the DoFasting recipes to make tracking easier.
You can track your weight loss progress over time if thats your goal and get a snapshot of your journey.

If you want more information, you enter your email address and DoFasting sends you the signup page and pricing information. If you want to sign up, you can choose from three plans:

There was a 15 minute countdown timer on the webpage that reset without raising the pricing when it got down to zero, so Im pretty sure you can take as much time as you need to decide without worrying about the pricing going up!
Because Im kind of a science/math dork, I always look carefully at the pricing. The regular pricing numbers didnt really work out here for me maybe its some special kind of intermittent fasting math.

I paid for this app. If you own a clock you already have all of the functionality of this app. You choose how many hours of fasting you want and then it shows you a clock with how many hours you have left in your fast. It also counts calories, but you have to know exactly how many calories are in everything you eat, which for me meant goi g to the web to look it up. Better to use My Ftiness Pal orsome other app where you can put in something like Apple and get the number of calories in an Apple. DoFasting doesnt do that. You have to know how many calories are in an apple. The articles they post are really basic and you can get the same info for free on the internet. Dont waste your money paying for a personalized program unless you need a new clock

The app has four parts, plus profile settings. The parts are Home, which is a little dashboard with your fasting timer Workout with suggested workouts Meals with suggested recipes and Articles.
Home has a timer showing when to eat or not eat, and how much time you have left in your window. You can change your fasting program at any time. For example, you might start with a 16:8 plan, meaning you fast for 16 consecutive hours and then eat as you like during an 8-hour window. If that’s too hard, you can switch to a 14:10 plan or a 12:12. You can also change the hours of your eating and fasting windows at any time. You could get the same results with most standard timer apps, of course. A real thorn in our side here is that you get ads for additional dieting and wellness products on the Home screen. You can dismiss an ad when you see it, but the next day you’ll get another one.
The company recently removed a stat from the Home page that supposedly showed “Fasts completed,” which was always zero. This change came after, during the course of our testing, we asked the company in a routine fact check why the number never changed from zero. It’s worth noting that the company changed or corrected several other problems that we raised in our fact check. On the one hand, the company is at least addressing major problems. On the other, it does not bode well that so many major problems went uncorrected for months before then.
