What To Eat With Fasting
Ive found most people who have trouble with their weight do better eating a lower amount of carbs. Im not saying you have to cut them out completely but you should focus on lowering them to boost weight loss. People who are naturally athletic and have more trouble putting on weight do better with lower fats and higher carbs and protein.
You should calculate your BMR to give you a ballpark picture of how many calories your body burns in a day. Then you should keep your calories under that number. You dont have to count your calories for the rest of your life but you should do so for at least for a little while so you can figure out what you should be eating in a day.
Focus on eating real whole foods. Higher protein diets have also been found to be beneficial for weight loss. Avoid starchy, sugary, and carb-rich foods especially those from refined grains and flour. Lastly, make sure youre avoiding bad vegetable oils that could also promote weight gain.
Should you exercise during fasting?
When it comes to exercise youll drop more poundage by working out along with your fasting . I prefer to do cardio in the mornings when Im fasting for an extra fat burn . Then doing a strength training workout later in the day can help to tone up and burn stubborn fat from your body.

How I Started Water Fasting
Firstly, I prepared myself mentally.
When you do something that drastic for the first time, youve gotta get prepared in your mind otherwise you could quit before you even get started.
I needed to be super conscious of the fact that I wont be eating any food for a whole week
This was a huge step for me, for my health, for my weight loss progress and I was ready to take that big step.
On my very first day of fasting, I woke up, took a cup of tea, and then I started my routine for the day.
Fortunately, I work at home.
So, even though I felt a bit weak during the day, I could just take a rest and get back to work after.
I had 3 bottles of water ready to attack my very first day of water fasting. Basically, each time I felt hungry, I just had one or two glasses of water.
And then it was noon, time for lunch but I had to drink water only and I was proud that I didnt even think about having lunch.
I started fasting on a Monday and the next day, I was down by 2.8kgs. And it went like this for the next days until I lost 10kgs.
I went from 67kgs to 57kgs in just seven 7 days. You can see the results in my cheeks HA!

I decided to treat intermittent fasting less like a 30-day experiment and more like a total lifestyle change.
This time, I was determined to get results and hold on to them for the long-haul, come hell, or high water.

Im SO bad at getting photos at the beginning of trying new things!
I was about 170 pounds here, and now Im under 150.
But I wish I had some when I was closer to 180! That would have been a much more dramatic visual!
